FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
these are questions that fans have asked - perhaps these answers may help you!
It depends whether you’re looking for home or away games. Home games this season (2024/2025) are held at Bishan Stadium, and tickets are available either via Sistic or at the ticketing counter on Matchday. The ticketing counter can be found on the same side as the entrance into the stadium (ground level).
For away games, you will have to check when our opponents release the tickets, and how they release it. Usually, you will have to buy a ticket from their ticketing counter on Matchday.

For season 2024/2025, there is no Season Pass. The club has a new model to reward fans who come to games often – sorta like a loyalty programme. More details here (https://sailorfantalk.com/2024/05/01/specials-the-deck-a-bold-initiative-aimed-at-drawing-new-fans/)
Some games may be very popular, so make sure to secure tickets early!

Usually, people who ask this question ask it for one of two reasons. 1) If you are interested to join the Crew to lend your voice on matchdays to support our Sailors, then that’s easy. All you need to do is come up to us on matchdays, talk to us, join our Telegram group, and that’s it! You’re part of the family.
2) If you’re asking because you want to receive updates directly from LCS, and you want to receive the privileges that Crew members get, such as discounts on merchandise, priority purchase of match tickets, etc, then you have to head on down to this website https://www.lioncitysailorsfc.sg/memberships/

At games, we have a limited repertoire of songs that usually revolve around how much we love LCS. Some of our chants are also about individual players. You can find some of these chants in the archived Instastories of our Instagram account (@sailorfantalk). Get following if you haven’t!

Yes! Do take note that you cannot bring your own canned or bottled drinks (even bottled water). The reason for this is safety – they do not want fans chucking things at players. However, the good news is that at LCS matches, there is usually two providers of drinks. There is an alcoholic provider, and a non-alcoholic one. Prices are decent – not what you would pay at English Premier League games for example. If you’re on a budget, do consider bringing in packet drinks in your bag – as far as we know, those are allowed! As for food, they have the usual stuff like hot dogs and nachos – and sometimes the club manages to get Old Chang Kee or other vendors to park a huge-ass truck outside selling food too!

Usually, these games are free for the public to watch. Check the Women’s Team socials to stay updated!
Gates are open for anyone who want to watch. Don’t be surprised to see members of the public continuing to do their exercise on the track and around you! The stadium remains open for public access.

Unlike certain hostile atmospheres in Europe / South America, football matches in Singapore are relatively safe and you need not worry about getting stabbed or injured by opposition supporters. Of course, please don’t take this as an invitation to be antagonistic or to do anything silly. If you have club apparel like the home or away shirt, wear those. If not, you’ll be fine wearing anything at all, except shirts of rival teams. Come in blue or white to really blend in!

Technically, any vulgarities uttered from the stands makes you liable to get charged, especially if there’s a complaint from a member of the public. Of course, you still hear some vulgarities from time to time, but if they happen near the Crew, we try our best to stop it because we would like to keep the atmosphere family-friendly – there are many young fans after all!
Keep it fun and creative! Try to listen to what the Crew is chanting, and follow along, or feel free to start your own 🙂

You can buy LCS merchandise on Shopee. They are our sponsors after all, so it is unsurprising that we have a presence there. Beware of fakes! Go to Shopee Mall and look for them, or use this link https://shopee.sg/lioncitysailors. Merchandise (limited sizes) are also available on Matchdays at LCS home games, so check out the booth especially if you’re unsure of sizing. We at SailorFanTalk love new merch so we’ll definitely be bringing you reviews as and when new merch comes out!

The answer is Bishan Stadium.
We kinda loved Jalan Besar Stadium when we had to play there cos of Bishan’s returfing, because of how close we are to the pitch, and the numerous options for food and drink after the game – but it was pretty sweet to go back to Bishan Stadium last season. After all, many of us first got to know each other there as Home United fans, so that place does hold some special memories for us.
